The Yard is situated in the heart of the wholesale fashion quarter of Manchester. Just 10 minutes walk from City Centre Manchester and Victoria station and across the road from The Green Quarter. The Yard is in a great location, you will find us just off Cheetham Hill Road between Broughton Street and Derby Street.
The venue is served by excellent transport links.
10 minutes walk from Victoria Station and 15 minutes walk from Queens Road metro link.
41 Palatine Road runs all the way through Withington, Fallowfield and Rusholme. 135 Bury to Manchester.
10 minutes walk from Victoria Station and 30 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station.

There is ample on road free parking outside and around the venue.

Age restriction for events
Unless stated our shows are over 14’s with under 16’s accompanied by a responsible adult. Due to the nature of certain events, these will be over 18’s only.
Accessibility and Inclusivity
The Yard has worked incredibly hard to provide an accessible venue. We have installed a ramp access to the front with direct entry to the main atrium and also ramp access to the rear. We have installed There is an accessible toilet in one of the side wings adjacent to the main event space. We advise emailing [email protected] and let us know which concert you are attending and we will reserve a space for you. We will also give you a number to use while you are attending the venue should you need bar or food service. Carers and support assistants will have free entry when accompanying a full paying visitor.
Loneliness, depression and anxiety
We are not trained counsellors and can’t offer advice, but we are kind and caring. If you come to an event and find yourself overwhelmed just find one of The Yard Team. They will find you a quiet place to have a sit down and decompress.
We want everyone attending an event to feel included whether they attend alone or as part of a group. If you’re feeling lonely just come and find one of us for a chat. (Some of the crew don’t stop talking to be honest!!)
Strobe Lighting
Signs are up around the venue indicating the use of strobe lighting.
Dogs
We are dog friendly (provided they are under control and toilet trained). We are not able to have dogs present for an atrium event unless it is an assistance dog.
Owners are responsible for their pets behaviour and The Yard accepts absolutely no responsibility for injury sustained to or by any visiting pets.
